Values & Principles

I am fascinated
by ideas.

I am creative, I appreciate originality of thoughts, ideas and concepts and I find it easy to make connections between apparently disparate contexts and phenomena. I believe everything should be considered from multiple perspectives, as only in this way we can observe the world from a different, enlightened, more positive angle. I think – as the saying goes- “outside the box”, and I always fill up with energy from any new ideas that occurs to me or others. I am a big fan of brainstorming, sharing and discussions of ideas between people, as in this way concepts get to be refined and ideas are made more concrete and practical. And this is a solid foundation for efficient actions.

I believe
in harmony.

Harmony is one of my guiding values. In my coaching sessions, I recommend my clients to look first and foremost for areas of agreement. I look for consensus, I do not enjoy conflict and I try to bring others together. I am able to spot, even during a conflict, what other people have in common and to steer them away from confrontation and towards reconciliation, when possible. I seek to help organizations diminish conflicts and frictions and focus on enhancing balance of the processes and collaboration in relationships. I believe in the value of non-aggressive communication and of reaching consensus. I have a strength in handling conflicts and difficult conversations.

I am interested and fascinated by the unique qualities of each person

In my view no individual is fully formed. On the contrary, each of us is a work in progress, alive with possibilities of adjustment, development and growth. I find myself drawn towards people for this very reason. I have a gift for figuring out how different people can work together in a productive way, using their individual gifts, abilities and qualities.

With the help of a personality assessment program in which I am certified in (Hogan Assessments) I like to assist using what I observe about each person’s style, strengths and motivation, how each thinks and how each interacts and builds relationships. In this way I help leaders understand how different people might be able to work together effectively and build their productive teams in which members complement each other. I believe each person’s unique qualities are their personal key to success and I am ready to help them find them.

I value the power to recognize and cultivate the potential in others

I am able to spot the signs of each small improvement in someone, and my fuel is the satisfaction from each evidence of progress. That is based on the strong belief in the potential of people to change, adjust and grow for the better. I find being part of someone’s development to be one of the most satisfying experiences. I like challenging people and I am also a natural encourager. I help groups develop their strength and ensure a successful future for individuals and teams.
